Description

NGC 7000 the North America Nebula close-up of the central america portion, also known as the Cygnus Wall.  It is about 1,500 light years away. The ridge is about 15 light-years long. It is illuminated by young, hot massive stars and is surrounded by cooler gases and dust.  This photo is an integration of 30 hours of data, 10 minute exposures in the SHO palette. Oxygen data from Bortle 1, Hydrogen and Sulphur from Bortle 9. After combining in Pixinsight and removing the stars, I did star reduction by Bill's method demonstrated by youtube by lukomatico, and blended them back in Photoshop. I also did an HOO blend that I blended into the SHO version in Photoshop. Final tweaks in Lightroom.

Esprit 120, QHY268M, Optolong 3nm SHO filters, Sky-Watcher EQ6Rpro mount.

S 55 x 10 min= 9 hr 10 min
